A. Apostolate according to the religious situation

1- Apostolate of Encounter towards peoples Islam has marked in culture and history.
This apostolate characterises our communities in the Maghreb - Tunisia and Algeria,

- but also in other parts of Africa,
in particular Mali (Nyoro du Sahel, Gao),
in Burkina Faso (for example among the Fulani in Dori and Aribinda)
and in Niger among the Hausa (Zinder and Berni N'Konni),
and to a certain extent in Maniema in DR Congo (Mingana, Kipaka).

2- Apostolate of Encounter towards peoples African Traditional Religion has marked in culture and history.
A good number of Missionary of Africa communities work among these peoples.
We mention as examples the communities of Northeast Uganda, among the Teses (Soroti Diocese) and the Karamajong (Moroto Diocese), in the north of Malawi in Nkata-Bay; in the west of Zambia among the Lozi (Mongu Diocese) or again among the Senoufò in Mali (Fantarela). Further examples include Burkina Faso (Konadougou) and Côte d'Ivoire ( Korhogo), finally Ghana in Gara, Bumpurugu, in the northeast of the country.

3- Apostolate towards Christian communities is aiming to make them more Missionary.
In this they are helped to sink their Christian roots into their cultures and traditions.
There are several communities in central Africa - DR Congo, Burundi, and Rwanda; in Eastern Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, and Malawi, primarily, even it is seldom to the exclusion of all else that they exercise this apostolate.

4- Apostolate for Christian Unity (Ecumenism)
is the characteristic of the communities in Ethiopia (Adigrat and Wukro) and St. Anne's in Jerusalem. However an increasing number of Missionaries of Africa have felt called to this apostolate in different parts of Africa.
